Merrie Acres is the perfect place to take your school for a fun filled day of activities and treats on the farm.

Take the kids out for an educational and activity filled day at Merrie Acres. Part of our mission is to enrich the daily lives of kids with outdoor activities. We host thousands of school-age youths each year during the fall harvest season.

Trouble finding engaging field trips for your group of youngsters? Merrie Acres is the perfect fall destination to fill a day with educational and activity based entertainment. Take the kids out to the farm and see the pig races, pick a pumpkin from the fields, learn about navigation while lost in the corn maze and gaze across the beautiful country that is Merrie Acres.

Pre-Schoolers

We’ve added attractions to exercise the minds and muscles of youngsters. Straw maze, Corn box, play ground, mini corn maze, and other attractions across the acres are perfect for the 2-8yr crowd.

Elementary Students

There are tons of activities for elementary-age kids at Merrie Acres. We have added lots of exhausting activities for growing kids that work on teamwork and navigation skills. Pumpkin picking, hay rides, cow-train ride, slides and mazes are great for the elementary school groups.

Admission Information:

Admission for field trip groups is $5.00 per child. For extra chaperones with field trip groups admission is $5.00 per adult.

To be considered for the field trip you need to have at least 20 children. You must have one teacher or chaperones for every 8 children and that persons admission is free.

School groups get one small pumpkin per child

All activities are included in field trip admission except laser tag.

Our parking lot can accommodate school buses and other large chartered vehicles.
